Memorial Day
Here are the cookies I made to sell at a local Artisan Market this weekend. I just found out the event has been cancelled! I guess I will try freezing them.

I also went to a friend's wedding whose colors were sage green and lavender. This was supposed to look like lilacs but alas I think it turned out looking more like grapes! Hmmm I think I need to explore this grapevine theme... Back to weddings, we had a few years there where we went to several weddings every summer, now everyone has gotten married! Now that we have had a break I am ready to go to another wedding and dance with my hubby. He always turns into a crazy wedding dancer and it makes me laugh.
Monogram Cookies
Here are my black and white themed monogram cookies. The Ms were made using royal icing transfers that I piped ahead of time. My friend used black and white as her wedding colors and it was so elegant. I loved the bridesmaids in black dresses and the bride in a beautiful white dress. The colors made everything look to clean and sharp.

Blue Cookies!
My mother's birthday is on Sunday so I decided to make her some cookies. She loves blue so I started with a blue base, now I just need to figure out what to do on top! I am thinking about trying my hand at the pretty lace designs I have seen. Unfortunately they are a bit crispier than I like because the propane tank ran out right after I finished baking them so I don't think the oven was keeping a consistent temperature, OR maybe I just left them in too long! I need to start setting a timer... Anyway I here is the before shot, I love this Wilton royal blue color.

Macarons
Here is my first attempt at French Macarons. I like the way they turned out but I am not sure if I need to bake them at a lower temperature so the inside cooks a bit more. These are filled with chocolate ganache. Maybe I will try a bit lighter filling for spring. This purple looks like all of the crocuses popping up!
